Membership to the BSDCQ
Your membership will assist the club in conducting the various activities, including walks, lure coursing days, herding trials, show days, education, health clinics, Rescue and general get togethers.
Membership - being fully financial has benefits!
The BSDCQ welcomes new members and welcomes membership participation.
If you are interested in the Belgian Shepherd of any variety and whether you are a breeder, pet owner, enjoy showing or any of the other canine disciplines, or just love your Belgian as the wonderful companion they are, the club may benefit you.
Fully financial members are entitled to free entry to many events, discounts for show entries, discounts of selected purchases, and a warm fuzzy feeling of helping to keep the club financially viable.
Current 2019-20 membership rates in the BSDCQ. Club financial year 1st July to 30th June.
- Single - $20
- Dual - $25
- Junior - free
Club membership fees are due for renewal on 30th June 2020. It was decided at the April 2020 committee meeting to provide a 1/2 price renewal special to assist those financially impacted by the Coronavirus pandemic.
COVID19 has affected us all in one way or another.
You may choose to select the "COVID19 1/2 price for 2021-21 special" if you are financially impacted, or you may wish to support the club's ongoing financial expenses by opting to pay regular membership fees.
Either way, the choice is yours, and we thank you for staying with us and renewing your membership.
Those members who's breeders signed you up for free, we invite you to take this opportunity to renew membership and upgrade to full membership voting rights.

All applications for membership are to be proposed and seconded by a member of the BSDCQ; if this is difficult, please contact the secretary on [email protected] to discuss.

Committee members must also be financial members of the ANKC
As per the Club's Constitution "Application for Membership" Section 11 - "A member may up to and including the date of, but prior to the start of, the Annual General Meeting, make application to the Affiliate for re-admission as a Member to his / her category of membership upon payment of the annual subscription, and shall be deemed for all purposes to have been re-admitted as such a Member"
Persons whose membership has lapsed (ie. Not received before the Annual General Meeting) will be required to complete an "Application for New Membership" form and pay the required fees.

- Pop on over to www.showmanager.com.au
- Click on My Area.
- Click on Club Membership.
- Click on the green button "Find a club to join & pay membership" and select "Belgian Shepherd Dog Club of Qld".
- Enter your details.
- Select which level of membership you wish to pay (Dual, Single, Junior, COVID19 1/2 price Dual, COVID19 1/2 price Single).
- Select donation options - such as sponsoring Championship Shows, Open Shows, Rescue etc.
- Pay now (or you can set up now, and remember to pay closer to 30th June if you wish).
HOW TO REJOIN. For those who have not yet set up a log-in for a free showmanager account.
- Go to www.showmanager.com.au
- Click on Find Clubs.
- Search "Belgian" and select "Belgian Shepherd Dog Club of Qld" (please ignore the trial account).
- Click on the green button "Club membership".
- Select "sign up" and Create a New Account.
- (this is where my testing the instructions ceases as I don't want to set up a testing account..... so, if you find the process any different, please let me know, and I will edit this message to get it right).
- I assume it will then log you in, and you will be able to proceed with entering your details on the membership application screen.
- Select which level of membership you wish to pay (Dual, Single, Junior, COVID19 1/2 price Dual, COVID19 1/2 price SIngle).
- Select off donation options - such as sponsoring Championship Shows, Open Shows, Rescue etc.
- Pay now (or you can set up now, and remember to pay closer to 30th June if you wish).

Breeders - Free Puppy Buyer membership
Free "Puppy Buyer" membership is offered to member breeders for each puppy born in 2019.
Breeders, simply email [email protected] with a list of your puppy buyers names, email and postal addresses, and they will be added to the mailing list of the BSDCQ, and be gifted the privilege of participation in all club activities, excepting voting rights. Limited membership is valid till end of that club financial year.
